Persona questions, answered

What is the difference between a persona and Apex?

Any single persona (Developer, Trader, SRE, Researcher) is $30 one-time and sets up OpenClaw for that role. Apex is $40 one-time and merges every persona’s skills and tools into one universal package, including every future persona.

How do I get Clawmont Security (Guardrails)?

Clawmont Security (plan name "Guardrails") is a separate subscription from any persona: $9.99/month bundled with a persona or Apex, or $19.99/month standalone. Personas are setup and tools; bundling simply gives persona buyers the discounted price on the same security product.

What exactly does a persona install?

A configured OpenClaw install with curated tools, skills, and MCP servers for the role — one install command. API keys are collected only in the terminal installer and stored in your OS keychain; they never leave your machine.

Which platforms are supported?

macOS, Linux, and Windows. OpenClaw runs locally on your own machine.
